2011年に制作した《Mutoscope》の構造を再検討し、改良したリメイク作品。
鑑賞者がハンドルを回すことで映像が立ち上がるという原初的な視覚装置の仕組みを用いながら、見ることと身体の関係をあらためて問い直す。
本作では、消失、歪み、欠落など、身体イメージの揺らぎをモチーフとした。

A remake of Mutoscope, originally created in 2011, with its structure reconsidered and improved.
Using the mechanism of a primal optical device, in which images emerge as the viewer turns the handle,
the work reconsiders the relationship between seeing and the body.
This version takes the instability of bodily images—such as disappearance, distortion, and absence—as its motif.
